I sell phones and have sold over £100,000 at 20years old. Here’s a few tips: - check the imei if it’s stolen - make sure the earpiece speaker works by playing the ringtone in settings and hold your finger over the bottom speaker to only hear the top one. - make sure there’s no screen burning - check if the screen was replaced by pressing into the brightness scroller and if true tone isn’t there, it’s been replaced - make sure the mic works by making a call on it or use the voice memos app and say something. Then play it back. - check the battery health Good luck ppl

i’m 15 and have been phone flipping on and off for two years and have made around £2000 which doesn’t sound like a huge amount however i don’t really sell newer model phones just yet

That awesome man! It’s not really necessary to buy newer phones since the profit margins might only increase by 20% when you could be using all the money spent on that one phone to buy multiple. Nice. I would advise to buy newer phones like the iPhone 12 which I found is the new sweet spot. I can pick them up for £220 and sell them for 380 easily. Also make sure to check the imei if it’s stolen as I’ve made that mistake before. Good luck

If you have an iPhone, newer models (around X and up) on relatively recent software have a setting that states what kind of repairs have been done and if it has a non-genuine part. Older devices don't have it.

I used to buy phones and sell thru eBay, Mercari, FB ect but the fees are just unbearable, and meeting up locally isn’t always the safest thing depending on where you live, and you waist gas and time. It’s not necessarily easy but I found repeat phone buyers, I know only sell to them. And it’s so worth it!

Another good hustle is smart phone consignment. Find people wanting to sell phone's and agree to sell it for a percentage of the profit. If you sellnkrnship to direct buyers your only making 30 to 50 profit per phone if your doing it according to the normal game being taught. So why not find people who are selling their phone on market place,make a deal and sell it

You can go to the carrier stores and they can transfer under your name so nobody can report it stolen. You can also check if it’s unlocked and that’ll tell you if it’s paid off.
