Same here. These consoles are coming with less and less paperwork every generation. The health warnings are legal requirements I guess but anything else is wasted paper to them.

Easy Set-up, works every time. 1. Connect the cables for power and the HDMI to the docking station. (Pop the plate on the base of the docking station and you will find the ports for the power lead and HDMI) 2. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to one of the TV's HDMI ports ensuring that it is firmly connected. 3. Place the Nintendo in the docking station ensuring that it is seated correctly. Turn on the mains electric power. 4. When the Nintendo is docked make sure that it is switched on using the On/Off power switch on the Nintendo its self. 5. The green light on the docking station will show when it is connected to the TV. 6. You should be able to see the Nintendo Switch Icon in the same place you select your various other smart gadets like, Playstation etc. ** Note: When you turn off your TV the green light on the docking station will go out. When you switch on your TV also switch on the Nintendo power switch and the green light will come on.

I just bought one of these and noticed the dock doesn't secure my switch comfortably and feels very loose. Is that the same with all Oled models? I have the original switch as well and when docked its snug and doesn't budge. Just wondering 🤔

So THAT'S what that weird, controller-shaped black piece is for! I thought it was some kind of charger specifically for the joycon's 😂. But instead, it turns the joycons into a controller! The commercials always focus more on the individual sticks being used by one person apiece, but I already knew those tiny things would kill my hands, so I bought a regular controller, lol! Welp, I guess that means I have two controllers now. Very helpful video, and thankfully with modern TV's having multiple HDMI ports, I can keep my PS4 plugged in alongside my Switch. 😊 Also, I understand Nintendo wanting to be efficient with not providing direct directions in the box...but this video has over 600K views. Clearly, everyone was just lost with the lack of instructions Nintendo gave in the packaging and just referring everyone to go to their website. This is my first time having a console with so many shifting pieces (well, that IS what makes the Switch so special 😅). Again, huge thank you for this easy to follow tutorial.

LOL. Man, if this is true, my gut was right. I just got an OLED switch last week, and I ashtrays joked to myself that once I got one, the pro would be announced. I've never owned a switch though, so oh well, it's fine...I will say, though, that the switch has over 4000 games, so I'm hopeful they'll be the company to spearhead a comeback to backwards compatibility in new consoles. I hope you're right I would love to see backwards compatibility become more popular in next gen consoles.... But until then, I guess I'll just have a hoard of consoles, lol.
