MY HERO!! I took my Galaxy to Tmobile to have them help me do this. I had original audio WAV files from the studio and video materials from my first few singles on them. The Tmobile guy messed with it, called over a couple other workers, and after about 30 minutes, he said, "Oh there you go. All transfered." I, LIKE AN IDIOT, trusted him and factory reset the phone. Now, months later, I went to transfer some other data onto the SD and inserted it into my Chromebook. THERE WAS NOTHING ON THE SD, I LOST EVERYTHING! So this time i said "eff tmobile" lol and luckily found you! Appreciate the info, bro! Be well.

My question is how to move apps to n from sd card. I'm trying to update Chrome n it won't cuz I think its on sd card n I don't know how to move it off of sd to update it n send it back to sd card

You tap and hold on the individual app until you see a little i in the corner. Tap on that, then it will take you to the app settings. Scroll down until you see Storage. Tap that, then on the top, tap change to move the app into the sd card. Note: some apps cannot be transferred into the sd card.

So pictures and video are easy to move to SD card. But not all apps can be moved. With all the updates the system needs and the limited 32gig internal storage space, it would seem that having a huge capacity SD card does help if it keeps running out of memory to MANAGE pictures and video.
