The moral of this story is to always follow your instinct. If you feel something is wrong, 90% of the time you're right. Whether you chose to work through it or not as a couple is completely dependent on you as a person and the relationship you share, but always follow your instincts, and if not, the instincts of someone who you trust (a family member, a friend etc).

I think the reason why people cheat instead of breaking up is because of denial. They don't want to accept the fact that they are with another person even though they clearly are. So they start to hide things from their partner instead of just breaking up with them. Slowly as they get more confident the situation gets worse until they're finally caught.

Also since she’s breastfed any and all unnecessary stress could and probably will impact my milk supply which would directly affect her. (I’m well aware that him cheating has and will continue to cause stress it’s just not as much as would be if we separated.) After I found out he cheated we moved 500 miles away to a city much closer to my family and states away from anyone he knows so far nothings happened and he’s stuck at home with me most of the time since he don’t know anyone.

Very similar how I found out my ex- husband was cheating. The only difference was his girlfriend contacted me and it was like a Jerry Springer show.
