Phool Ko Ankhama
Arranged by Ramesh Rai
Original: Nhyoo Bajracharya (Composer) and Ani Choying Dolma (Singer_2008)
Composer Nhyoo has brilliantly implemented soothing harmony and melody in the original song, however, my arrangement includes additional counter melodies (more textures), drumset and wind instruments.
Ani's lyrics emphasise the tranquil teachings of Buddhism, encouraging listeners to cherish the profound value and significance of life and all living beings. Embracing love, care, peace, and harmony allows us to create a better world.
Nepalese lyrics translation:
The world is a flower in the eyes of a flower,
The thorn sees the world as a thorn.
In summary: Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.
A couple of years ago, I had an informal chat with a composer Nhyoo sir on Viber. He was content with my idea of arranging and uploading his work on KZbin.
I uploaded it in July 2024. Note: Our woodwind quintet group has been performing Phool Ko Ankhama (Woodwind Quintet Arrangement) which has been greatly appreciated by Nepalese audiences and officials who frequently visit VIP events in the UK.
Finally, if you are interested in performing my arrangement please do not hesitate to contact me. I aim to highlight/arrange popular Nepalese tunes so that they can be performed and appreciated around the world. Music has no boundaries. Sharing is Caring. Thank you.
