We need some super slow motions of that finish! I watched it like 10x on .25x playback speed and to me it looked like Brown. Woulda helped if they had a white line somewhere -haha also if you do playback at .25x speed all of Matt's commentary at that time is pretty funny
@Steezy_Mx6 ай бұрын
I’m pretty sure the transponders determine who won and who didn’t. Times don’t lie.
@keithbeal12146 ай бұрын
You can play it slow and check out my post and thoughts. .25 speed will stop just before the shadow of the scaffolding, but the white stake are set up in a cocked position that looks like one is back from the Monster energy column and 1 right at it and I believe that is what records the timing.

People ......super slow mo to .25 and look at the 2 small white stakes . I believe this looks to be the transponder recorder (or someone tell me different) and then tell me who won. Looks like Brown. However, if you go by the shadow on the ground and pause it...the frames are jerky and it looks like a tie or Brown arrives first by a smidge and the Short snags it by the back of the shadow easily. Looks like the flaggers and or lappers had a deciding factor in this. Great coverage Matty!

@@Tew730 what do you meant Brown triumph? He's on a ktm...
@keithbeal12146 ай бұрын
@@jedielder7970 Yes, hence the "White Stakes" I speak of on the ground near the Monster scaffolding. They have it on the bikes and the recorder is throughout the track to time segments of the track from riders. Thats why Matt talks about there are no "Gaps" recorded. They both showed blank gap and then Jeff Emig was back 1:09. That Emig's gap from 1sr or the tied race
@jedielder79706 ай бұрын
@@keithbeal1214 Brown did lead every lap, and he also deserved the win. I guess it's one of those things that a computer is better measuring small distances of objects moving quickly than we are? IDK? I guess next time Brown will twist the throttle a little more at the end?
