Know whats worse than a phot radar ticket? Getting pulled over by a human being and humiliated, given a ticket, and possibly having demertis taken off of your license. I hope they increase police numbers to do this properly.

What is your statement based off of? Any credible studies? The most credible studies show no statistical improvement. How does taking a picture stop an impaired driver. Do you work for a camera company or something?

@@MarionGrisdale No, photo radar takes license plates which only identifies car ownership, not the driver. Yes, laws that keep travel safer are good, why do you think mailing tickets to owners of cars weeks after they've driven by a camera makes streets safer? Did you know that it's been well studied but no study has ever shown a correlation between traffic tickets and safety? Have you found any robust studies showing material improvements in crash rates after installing cameras or increases in crashes after removing them? I'm not talking about the cherry-picked data that police departments like to publish to support their narrative. I'm talking about real studies with control intersections and real statistical analysis.

@rdoubled1384 I hope you know that photo radar has been in use in EU for years!! Just saying ! Owners of cars are responsible for the use of such vehicles ! There are ways to investigate just who was driving the car and what time it was . If you are honest and obey the laws why would you get so up hight about photo radar ??? 🤔

@@MarionGrisdale Who cares who long the EU has had ineffective road safety measures? Why copy bad ideas? Why is an owner of a car responsible for it's use, isn't the driver responsible? If you get shot stabbed with a knife, is the knife owner responsible or the person who used the knife? Why would a car owner be expected to perform private investigation services for the government without compensation? Everyone should be worried about the fairness of a system that accuses the owner of property for what the user of the property does, for a system that cannot fairly identify violators (just remove or block your plate or tow a trailer and you are exempt), and a system that is not always accurate, and a system that does not even make the roads safer! Why would you support that?
