Ive been in the Theme Park/Entertainment Concept Design Industry for over 12 years. This tutorial, in my opinion is one of the best tutorials for demonstrating how to "paint" like a traditional artist. This tutorial is invaluable to me! It's clear, simply and easy to follow. I am blown away by the results. Moving forward, I will apply this techniques to my finished renderings to take them to greater heights! Thank you sooooo much for being generous and posting such a wonderful tutorial.

2:00 when ever i create new layer it gives me state of history doesnt have the layer. WHEN I FIXED THAT, IT DISLIKES THAT THE LAYER IS LOCKED. WHEN I CREATE A NEWLAYER IT PAINTS WHITE. WHAT THE F did i do wrong.

At 0:16 seconds you show an example of a man where you can see his face. I am attempting this technique on an image where I can see the subjects faces, but I cant sharpen their features? They are very blurry... Any help would be appreciated.

was there a change to the art history brush (or bug) in recent versions of photoshop 2023 ? when i use the art history brush (e.g. the ones you provided) the brushes shatter all over the picture in ridicolous fast speed so i can't control or really paint anything. :/

I dont know what im missing, but when i wanna use this tool doing smaller strokes, the style mode is always using the same amount of space while dabbing, making the stroke smaller doesnt change this, the dots are smaller but still spread over the same amount of space? Making it hard for me to get my details right
