Great video and images. FYI, the plants at 4:45 are Ocotillo plants, not yuccas. In spring, they can have beautiful, small red blooms on them.

I've been looking forward to going to Joshua Tree again because after reviewing several photographs it seems to me that many of the rock formations are in fact the remains of giants that once existed according to the Bible. And by the way are you are you the guy from Happily Divorced? Haha you look just like that actor. It's not a bad thing he's a good-looking chap. I'm going to subscribe to your channel and see what you find. Good luck

Really not as hard as they make out. Just focus on the aperture to start with . A small aperture number 2.8 for example means very little in focus, large number like 11 or 22 means everything in focus from foreground to the distance. There you go, try that In aperture mode.

40 degrees is really cold??? I guess it's a matter of what you are used to feeling. Try a a February day in Oswego, New York... :)
