You guys really made me feel good because my father is dead and I would’ve loved to of done something like that for him but you know that time is past but just seeing how you were able to in life do something like that I thought that was just the best thing ever I mean it was just so cool. Well sorry, but the kid clearly doesn't know his cars. He acts like the RX-7 is a clunker and not a true sports car, when nothing could be further from the truth. The FC & FD models are widely considered to be Mazda's most successful sports car (with the RX-8 coming in 2nd). Car enthusiasts are naturally going to watch this content, so expect them to be pissed off when he insults Mazda's most iconic sports car. He may as well been trash talking Toyota Supra.
@AbsoluteyAmerican5 жыл бұрын
sixstanger00 its not a great sports car. They need 20-30k worth of work to make the 400-600hp you see people in youtube videos driving. The factory rx-7 is really nothing special. You are talking at most 255 hp, 0-60 in 8.2 seconds. So don’t give me this crap that the rx7 is a great sports car. With 20-30k of modifications, yes, but straight out the factory, forget about it.

A dad crying is the most emotional thing a son can witness, and it is all so relative in this world. My family went through hard times and my dad was always struggling to make sure we don't realize how difficult we had it. We were so poor that we barely could afford a computer and it took a lot of saving to get a 486 back in the day, with Windows XP and my parents kept using it until recently. My brother and I bought both of my parents a laptop each so they wouldn't fight over the PC. That's when my dad just lost it and cried like I've never seen him before. When we asked him why he's crying he said I struggled all my life so my kids get away from the poverty and I never wanted anything else in return. I'm not crying because of the laptop, but because it finally seems like my struggle is yielding results, for my kids to buy me something they never had when they were growing up and something I couldn't buy them when they needed it is breaking my heart... Now that is real joy. Here, what seems to be a well off family, makes a commercial video of a successful photographer buying his dad a rare and expensive car and the dad is not looking that excited, but the son made sure he advertises his business once more at the end of the video... I don't know, it's all relative, but a 300 dollar laptop in certain situations can be a more emotional and intense gift than a 5-digit price tag car. And I'm sure relativity goes the other way and some dads will cry for even less in material terms, but in emotional terms way way more.

Dad did something right to have a son who actually put thought, time, and money to make him happy. My respect to the son and envy of the Dad. I had a Hugger orange 68 Camaro SS (hard top, no rally stripes) but always dreamed of the RX7. Lol Much love to you all!

That Camaro is an American muscle classic with style, class and character. Everything that mazda lacks. Significant, light years of an upgrade, well done. This is what family is all about. God bless 🕆

Have you ever been surprised with something after getting a big hint? You start to really doubt yourself because you don’t want to be wrong and then let yourself look ungrateful. And then when it happens, you’re stunned! The dad had such a sweet reaction, he kept talking and looked so happy!

Reading through the comments at the start of the video and they all say his reaction is poor and stuff. I reckon his reaction was like this because it's probably exciting and you kind of act up. I have the same kind of reaction when I get things I have always wanted (even though I don't get what I dream of)

Ozzie Daboss no sorry you're wrong!! I've watched numerous videos exactly like this over the past few years and honestly this is the worst most bs reaction I've ever seen, I just read and genuinely believe it's all promo for his crappy photography...
@chef95246 жыл бұрын
I don’t give much of a reaction when I get stuff, it’s usually just a smile and saying thanks.

they just don't get that some people just can't express their joy in such a breakdown way like most videos show it...this is coming from someone who's been lucky enough to experience it myself. Last summer my chrysler voyager which was a last gift from my deceased grandpa was literally breaking apart and my dad told me it was beyond saving. (it wasn't that great, but I held it very dear anyways) I was flat broke in the middel of an apprenticeship with barely enough salary to get through the months and I didn't have a car anymore to get to my workplace. I borrowed my dads car for two weeks when one day I came to drop it off at his place and saw him already waiting for me at the parking lot, smiling right next to a Porsche 928 (which was my dreamcar since I saw it the first time when I was 6 or 7). And I swear the moment I saw it my brain couldn't comprehend it...I mean I knew it was mine instantly and I was bursting with joy but only on the inside. I was speaking almost normally when I thanked him and was even mad at myself for not being able to show him how I felt, but I really just couldn't and I didn't want to poorly act it. I told him so too and he knows me so he understood, but I still feel guilty for not giving him that moment of his son just exploding in happiness

Some guys go that route cuz when they cry with much emotion (as he would have here) they blubber alot, face red, not to pretty. He knew his son was taping & he wanted to look good! He cared PLENTY, I'm sure! Congrats to dad & atta boy to son!
