Well you showed that it is still possible to make good images in some very poor weather conditions. I was up there last year with my son and we also had some mixed fortunes with the weather but the area is just full of beauty. Definitely on my list of places to return to. The rusty axle shots don't do it for me, but the mono of the tree and Stach Pollach and the Summer Isles definitely capture the sense of the place. Like the selfie by the falls too!

In my opinion, one of your best yet Gary. Its not all about capturing the epic shots with great light (which we all wish for), its about the landscape, the conditions and the sheer effort that goes into trying to capture magic. Some times 'dark light' can provide for better photos. Coigach is a great photo location when the weather is kind, but I've had some even better photos in storm light from that area. That's the wildest I've seen Achnahaird Bay. The Glen Coe shoot worked out well, particularly the shots from the Devil's Staircase, the Big Boochle and Lochan na h-Achlaise (lochan nakalasa). Great vlog - regards.

If I caught it correctly you said you couldn't find those "wheels" in the NE, they are on a place called Chemical Beach, just south of Seaham Harbour, if you Google "chemical beach wheels" you'll find them, not an easy place to get to though over the very large boulders, but there is plenty of parking above the beach. PS, loved the blog.
