Incredible footage Harry! And what an experience it must have been for you two! I was lucky to experience a group of 4 Loons (i made a small video about them myself and uploaded it to my channel here, but nowhere near as decent footage as yours!) visiting a nearby dam this winter, and what beautiful birds they are! Thanks for sharing and regards from Germany, keep it up!

Hi Harry, really enjoy all of your work. When shooting video on the R5 do you shoot in Log or one of the standard picture profiles. Cheers.

I have an R5 and 100-400mm EF mark2. Great combo. I primarily take stills but really want to get into doing more wildlife videos. What settings in the menus have you changed for the video side to film wildlife? Im not talking about shutter speed, aperture and iso but under your focus menu and video settings under the menu section. I'd like to shoot in 4K as well. I think the 8K feature is overkill haha. Also what do you use to edit your videos? Just one more question as well. I've heard in video mode whatever youre filming in... say 30fps you'd want to double your shutter speed from that or roughly double it while filming?

Great work on this! I've loved loons since the first time I heard them on the Cabonga Reservoir up in Canada. What model kayak was that? Looks like a Stellar brand if I'm not mistaken - just not sure of the model.

How’s it being in a sit in kayak with your great? I’m thinking about getting a sit on kayak since they are a bit wider
@HarryCollinsPhotography Жыл бұрын
I like the sit in, to be lower to the water but I will admit it took quite a while to get comfortable maneuvering with my gear
