So glad to see you guys getting away from the mountains! The Rockies only comprise about ten percent of Alberta and yet they get all the attention. There is a huge variety of landscapes in the other 90 percent - like Writing-On-Stone - that get very little love. Thanks for getting off the heavily-beaten path!

It's always fun with Gavin and Adam. They are always relaxed. Adam looks a little Paul Revere. Amanda likes tech talk like women like muscle car talk. Not. But I think she is pretty happy. Geez, it's fall after all. I need to get out and look for those great fall shots. The Van: If the bed turned out great for you and your partner(A term I 'm getting used to) well, that's half or more of it right there.. I see there is a plan. Those "green bottles" we know those. They have their place. Flat light, flat topography; there is a photo there. A little light, that's all we need.

I enjoyed the chatting with Gavin, little chit chat about camera sterf. Like just hanging about with friends talking shop. 😊 Like the last shot of Ha Ling, beautiful color with the sun. Nice update on the van; good plans for it. Wow the moonlight you captured was something else!!!! Like I've ever seen before.....🤭 What a change of lovely scenery with the hoodoos, didn't know Canada had an area like that, really cool. I always have a hard time with comps on areas like that, wonderful job as usual finding such beautiful comps there. Thanks, Adam! Cheers!

Beautiful video today Adam! We've picnicked many times at that spot in Canmore and we hunt annually just east of 'writing on stone' in the Milk River valley. Encroyable in Canmore... Love the van tour update... We 'discovered' Writing on Stone a few years ago... a magical place indeed, although during the summer months it is almost impossible to get a camping spot in the park... I always look forward to the transition from your RAW file (20:00) to the processed image and predicting what I think you will do... it serves as a wonderful learning tool to help sharpen my own vision of what can be from what is... I hope you also found Red Rock Coulee as part of a loop taking you back to the west coast... Thank You

Long standing subscriber to your channel Adam and enjoy your content. Just a little constructive criticism, not photography related. The volume is rather loud when you introduce music, maybe go another -10dB from your regular setting. It will probably match the same level as your dialogue that way.

thumbs up duly given... The first location with the lake & mountains was my favourite by miles. Simply stunning location captured beautifully! Pardon the pub, but the hoodoo's didn't really rock my boat. The first hoodoo shot had a lovely sky, but the rocks had no light on them. The second hoodoo shot where you composited the sky & the land also could have done with more light on the foreground. The third hoodoo shot, the one with the nicely illuminated cottonwood had the foreground light, but I felt had too much bland rock in the lower quarter to a third of the frame - maybe a more pano aspect ratio might have worked better here because the top two thirds, & especially the middle third, was were the interest lay for me. It's only an opinion mind. It felt like one of those locations that 'feels' like it has bags of potential, but releasing that potential is nigh on impossible! I've been to locations like that before & found it very frustrating. The opening location more than made up for the hoodoo's though, you could sit & look at that lake, mountain & sky all day long! ahhhhhh.

Really enjoyed this video as we just spent the last month in the same general area but went up through Jasper (Edith Cavell Glacier is worth a visit if you haven't been, go early) and then down through to Horseshoe Canyon and then Dinosaur Provincial Park before heading back through the Banff area to the rain in the Fraser Valley. If you haven't been to Dinosaur it's also a great spot with a campground right amongst the rock formations, just don't go on a weekend!

Great images. Not sure when this was filmed, but I was down there Sept 30 and also got some (IMO) good shots. I was only there for one morning though, so I was running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to find good compositions as well. It seems like it is almost too much of a good thing. Next time I go I will definitely be staying a little longer. The campground down there seems like a nice quiet spot. I am told that astrophotography is phenomenal in there, too! There is no light and almost always a clear sky.
