Hides, blinds, hideouts... These are the names we use to refer to the places set up for wildlife observation. Photographers, ornithologists, naturalists and anyone who wants to observe animals up close and in the wild come to them.
Today I am at the Otea Foto hide in El Espinar, Segovia, managed by the Colectivo Azálvaro, an NGO that, among other things, works for the protection and conservation of scavenger birds and their habitats. On this occasion they have placed a couple of animals killed by roadkill to attract the animals.
Animals observed:
Griffon vulture (Gyps fulvus).
Black vulture (Aegypius monachus)
Golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos)
Red Kite (Milvus milvus)
Common Raven (Corvus corax)
