For three season I produced an outdoor program for Discovery World and other mainstream TV networks here in Canada which was done in this format. This is the first time I have come across a magazine style production on YourTube. I can only repeat that which has been stated WELL DONE!

This show really is top notch with BBC levels of production values. The content is excellent too. So refreshing to see this kind of video on KZbin.

Of all the photography related videos here on KZbin, without second thought, I can say that nobody puts in the amount of effort like the way you guys do!
@paulmarshall6774 жыл бұрын
A sign of a good KZbin video is when the time goes by in a blink of an eye. There are some You Tubers who could learn a thing from you guys. Short and snappy segments - spot on! Great watch and can’t wait to see more.

Thanks Paul. We are trying to offer something different from all the other KZbin photography content. We felt it was time to move things on!

Agree completely - Love the 60 second contrast tip segment
@mrmaxwell21764 жыл бұрын
Really excellent and a great improvement to any previous you tube photography videos I have watched...no waffle, useful tips on filters and especially thanks for the comparison of circular screw in type to the square slot in variety. The 60 second contrast tip in LR will be part of my new workflow. Even the enjoyable train challenge was full of tips. The team is great, all fronted by a very capable presenter who also knows more than a little about the craft. The drop test of Kase means an additional item for my wish list. I will circulate the link to my local camera club and RPS colleagues. Thank you all!

What a great show. So glad I found you. I generally fall asleep through most of the other photography videos, but you guys had me awake and wanting more. I found the content very helpful, informative and easy to listen to with a sprinkling of humour. I have added Skye to my travel list. Looking forward to the rest. Subscribed.

Usually, with a KZbin video over 35 minutes, I skip over sections to get to the interesting bits. Not with this one. So well put together with just the right mix of interest, information and humour that I watched every second. Having 'done' the Jacobite railway last year I particularly liked 'the challenge'. Well done, I look forward to the next one.

I'm surprised I haven't seen something like this before. Really seems like it was made for TV (or these days, like some sort of network-specific program), the production value and information is fantastic. Beautiful language and descriptions in the Dolomites bit too. You even had Marcus McAdam on, that's awesome!

"Keeping their images natural and faithful to how the scene was at the time. This is, after all, what landscape photography should be about" Hah! If only. I couldn't agree more, but it's amazing how many popular photographers ignore this completely.

Just catching up on some viewing as have a bit of time on my hands!! Found the tips for Loch Fada and the Jacobite Express REALLY useful and not things I'd found anywhere else during my planning for (a delayed now) trip to Glencoe/Fort William/Skye area. Thanks! Sorry but for Polariser and ND filters circular is my choice as so much smaller and lighter to carry along with a step up ring to cover different diameter lenses. I try to avoid Variable ND's as they are destructive, better to bracket and blend in post in my opinion. Anyway, definitely got me interested in looking at the next few videos. Keep up the good work :-)
