Another great video. I think that’s my favourite line to travel on, so it was great to see it from another perspective.

Excellent video from one of my favourite stomping grounds, although this area is very overgrown in the Summer, much better in late Autumn, Winter and Spring.
@AndrewShenton2 жыл бұрын
Totally agree Michael, my last two visits up here were in late November with the wonderful autumn colours and in March before the leaves came back - if honest I do struggle in summer getting a pleasing shot with all the greenery.

Another great piece of filming Andrew. Really enjoyed this one as it’s my local line. Thank you so much for sharing. You do find some interesting photo spots along the way. Thank you and looking forward to the next one.
@AndrewShenton2 жыл бұрын
Glad you enjoyed it Adrian, it’s both a challenge and part of the enjoyment hunting out locations, some work magnificently and other spots are just a disappointment - all part of the fun.
@peterkazmierczak72732 жыл бұрын
Some different locations, Andrew. My favourite shot is at 5:40. Always very interesting. The brooding soundtrack is most appropriate too. With my pedantic hat on, the trains are IETs, not IEPs. IET = Inter-City Express Train (the actual vehicles) IEP = Inter-City Express Programme (the whole project) Regards, as ever.
@AndrewShenton2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Peter, plenty of views to go at along here. I’m with you on the IEP IET, personally I don’t like either acronym, plus I can’t remember whether these are Nova 1, 2 or 3, so i’ll have to stick with 802 for the Transpennine ones. Its easy on the East Coast with Azuma!!

Great video if you don't mind me asking how do you track what train to expect on each line..??
@AndrewShentonАй бұрын
Many thanks, I use two websites for tracking trains, realtimetrains.co.uk and Railcam, I use railcam for the track diagrams which shows all the train movements.

Great vid as usual Andrew.......btw, I was thinking of starting filming, which microphone do you use ?
@AndrewShenton Жыл бұрын
Thanks, I use a Rode Wireless go 2 as a personal mic then I’ve another Rode mic on the main video camera. Good luck, I find getting good sound is one of the hardest parts of filming, especially when windy.
