Photography In A Graveyard

On a rainy morning I head into town to get creative with puddles etc. As nothing in town grabs my attention & the rain stops I go to a graveyard looking for a couple of compositions.

Some nice images there. I'm a student photographer specialising in graveyard and cemeteries photography so thrilled to find this video. They're lovely places to be no matter what the weather (but then I'm biased)!!! I am impressed with some of the angles you captured and you have given me some food for thought, especially with shallow depth of field etc. One of the hardest things I find is busy graveyards (lots of graves close together) and it's a bit overwhelming sometimes but I'm keen to try out some things you did 🙂

I like the fact that you give us the true story of your adventure. Sometimes, you just don't find much inspiration in a place--photography isn't all success, and it is nice to see the struggle. You did get some nice shots of the flowers, which I really liked.

Another good video showing it's not always as easy as some photographers make out. You got some cool shots I agree with one of the comments on here any grave over 100 years is fair game in my opinion.

Thank you for sharing your adventure. I have always found graveyards to be very peaceful and full of colour, especially on days of remembrance. I loved your photograph of the pretty bluebells, so delicate and full of life. I also loved the photograph of the bird very dramatic it took on a totally different form. Truly exceptional.
