Hey! thanks for the video! i have my cartoon but is impossible to export! how can i export my works with the cartoon action? i try everything (quick export as png, save as, save a psd, export to illustrator) but always is an error from photoshop. :(

once the action is complete it doesn't know what else to do. The instructions on an action are very specific

Patterns in older Photoshop(2015) for me, you go to Edit, Preset, Preset Manager, Preset Type, Patterns, Load, Locate .Pat File

So you started the video with PS open with a Group 2 layer?? what's in the Group 2 that I'm missing?

ahh right yeh that's just the background materials that I created which you can see on the screen. It just makes the work area look more interesting

this is great thanks! just 1 question, I want to use the "hearts" pattern, but want them maybe pink instead of black. I have tried changing the color of them but it changes the color of the whole background instead, is there anything I can do to achieve what im desiring?

If you go into blending options on thr pattern layer you can get yourself a color overlay then change the colour there

I tried this but kept getting oil paint not avail. It's not listed in the place you mention in the video however it does appear in the upper section of the drop down..... if it needs to be in the other section to work how do I move it?

Legacy compositing is not available on the updated PS apparently? I cannot seem to be able to use the oil paint option? Is that something that happened once they removed the legacy compositing on the 2022 version?

It should still work but I'll have a look

Just had a look and it works fine for me and im using latest version cc 2022 so just double check your image is 8bit, you have it set RGB mode and your image is atleast a high resolution size

Yes, that's the default effects, you can turn them off just minimize the folder then hold ALT and double click on the down arrow on the group to organise everything in groups and it will be near the bottom groups
