I am a complete Novice and first time buyer of Photoshop. You have the simplest and most organized way to learn so far on KZbin thank you so much. How ever it takes me a little longer to adapt since most all videos I find on utube is on older versions of PS, I wish there where more training videos with the PS elements 11 screen and work space.

@theprincessandthepup Thanks for your comments. This probably isn't the best technique to use for deleting a busy background. You might have better luck zooming in and using the Quick Select Tool or Lasso Tool to select your background and then pressing Backspace on a PC or Delete on a Mac. Sometimes it's easier to Select your subject and then go up to the Select Menu and choose Inverse and then Backspace or Delete. Either way plan on spending some time to get a good selection. Thanks for this video, however I'd love to see you do this with a normal photo that has many colors in the background, not a solid color. I'm doing this along with the video and its not working the same way. If I click on the photo the new background color either bleeds into my subject I dont want touched or it only fills in some pixels so I have to spend a long time clicking around the photo... help! :-) thanks
