It's amazing how, when I get a question during your video, somewhere in the video you always answer my question. I think it's because you follow a logical and intuitive flow of instruction. Rabbit trails really clear your message up and make things easy to understand. It's not always "what" to do but, when necessary, "why" you do it that way.

This series of Photoshop tutorials are great, small bitesize bits of information to digest easily. Some great tips on the editing processes which I did not know before. Thanks Anthony.

Thanks once again for the wonderful series you are doing and being so thoughtful. Once again I would request you to do a video on the basics of PS for the understanding of PS. THANKS

Thanks. Very helpful. I use auto mode for content aware fill but I find it helpful to tune the areas it is sampling from. In your case it worked fine but I would have removed the sampling of the tree areas for example by subtracting them out with the provided brush tool. Otherwise you often get spurious stuff put in.

I found the series I didn't know I needed! I feel quite confident with LR but absolutely terrified of Photoshop, have no idea what to do with all that stuff.... Thank you!

Thanks Anthony for pointing out the value of adding multiple small areas to content aware fill. I alway selected the larger area, and sometimes got strange, unacceptable results. I have a keyboard shortcut for CAF, being option/command/f to speed up the process. In addition, I only use Lightroom’s spot healing tool for spots, anything more complicated or larger, I find Photoshops tools vastly superior.

So helpful Anthony, the way you put it across is so easy to follow, I’ve never removed distractions like that before and feel quite intimated with photoshop. Thank you as I managed to edit a image following your lesson.👏👏👏

Great tips- especially the lightroom preferences - I have had a bit of a nuisance with some of the defaults. Now I know where to fix them. I'm amazed how much better the "spot removal" works in photoshop.

Thanks so much Anthony for this. I'm a lot intimidated by Photoshop. One thing I would like to learn is how to remove background poles which appear really close to a person's face without affecting the face at all.

Thank you so much for this. I took a photo of a blue vase standing on top of a clear glass. Would I use this method to remove the glass? At the same time keeping a straight line under the vase?

G’’day from down under, I’ve been watching you PS for LR users and have followed your instructions on content aware fill i keep on getting a dialogue box asking me to use the sampling brush tool to add to the sampling area. Can you enlighten me as to where I’m going wrong?

Thanks Anthony.....great technique. I personally would find the bright green sign along the left border, and its reflection distracting as well. However, the sign appears to have tree branches in front of it, that you would not want removed......is there a technique to deal with that situation, and the reflection on the water? Thanks.
@bobcohen40083 жыл бұрын
I also find the green traffic sign distracting and would remove it if feasible.

So here is a question I have always wondered about. When the Tiff comes back into LR, why won't LR like you stack the two together. I would like to keep the two together in case I ever want to go back to the RAW again for some reason but LR won't stack them. When I focus stack, I also get a TIFF back but LR will allow me to stack those behind the TIFF. Is there some reason won't allow stacking of two versions of the same image?

If you're like me most of the keyboard shortcuts don't sink in, so two clicks of a mouse isn't really that bad and sometimes easier than two hands and multiple keys.

Is there any way when returning from PSP to LR to keep slider settings previously made in LR? Although it is possible to copy and paste from the original photo, the white balance becomes impossible to reproduce once it goes from a scale in degrees to a numerical one.
