This might work fine………AS LONG AS you pick an original photo that matches the subtle dark/light areas in the example. I picked photos with lots of dark/light areas and cloudy bumps, and IT DIDN'T WORK as you described, mainly because there was no dark empty center that was created like you did when you completed the "Polar Coordinate" and "Pinch" operations. Trying to imagine how an initial photo must look in order to get the wormhole effect is guesswork. You should have mentioned how you knew your photo would be successful, what characteristics the photo had that contributed to the effect's success. That is the most important part to getting this effect correct.
@BLTV_Photoshop2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment. Trying to imagine how an initial clouds photo must look in order to get the wormhole effect is NOT guess work. Upon applying the polar co-ordinate filter, you can clearly see that the lighter clouds are in the center while the darker clouds are around the perimeter, so when you analyze the original clouds photo, you'll see that the brighter clouds are centered while the darker ones are at the top and bottom of the photo. Therefore, if you're going to use a different cloud photo, you should pick one that has those similar attributes.

None of this works on version 2022. I’m beginning to HATE Adobe. Think it’s time to learn Affinity, DaVinci and Blender. Adobe switches up everything with every version NEEDLESSLY and renders what you’ve learned pretty much obsolete. Smoke and mirrors, somebody @ Adobe needs these hands 👊🏾.
@BLTV_Photoshop2 жыл бұрын
It does get frustrating. When in the video (minute: second) is it incompatible with v. 2022. Thanks.
