I'd like to manipulate the water highlights. Can you offer some direction?
@BLTV_Photoshop Жыл бұрын
If you want to change the shape of the highlights, just paint them in with your pencil or liquify tools.

Great tutorial Marty! If I were to put these water 💦 drops on someone’s face (in a photo) do you think they could pass for teardrops?
@BLTV_Photoshop2 жыл бұрын
Tear drops don't have the depth of water drops and they're characteristics are different.

Hi can these droplets be saved so that it can easily be used in other projects? If so can you tell us how? Maybe by creating a brush? Which I know about but don’t know how to do. Thank you
@BLTV_Photoshop Жыл бұрын
No, but you can create an "action" to minimize the steps.

Hi Marty, is it possible to turn these waterdrops in a brush?
@BLTV_Photoshop Жыл бұрын
Yes. Once you create one, hide all other layers in the Layers Panel and go to Edit > Define Brush Preset.

With the new Photoshop upgrade the gradient tool, it converts the layer with the ellipse into a layer mask. Is there any way to fix this?
@BLTV_Photoshop Жыл бұрын
There shouldn't be anything to "fix". When you fill a selection with the new gradient tool, it creates a layer mask of the selection. The layer mask confines the gradient to its shape.

my gradient doesnt do that same shade and when i click overlay it just goes behind my image and disappears

99% of the time, it's a simple human error. Make sure the correct layer is active and in the correct order.
@taliahmartinez896811 ай бұрын
Hi everyone hope you're all well! If anyone could help me out I'd really appreciate it! When I make my circle with the marquee tool on a new layer and set the liner gradient within it, it automatically switches to a gradient fill layer rather than a layer with that circle in it. The issue is when I go to liquify said layer, it makes me rasterize it or turn it into a smart object in order to do so and throws the whole look off. Any tips on how to make it stay on that layer and not automatically transform into it's own gradient layer? Probably something in my settings but I can't figure it out so far and it's breaking my heart lmao
@BLTV_Photoshop11 ай бұрын
The fastest way to solve this is to go to the top of your screen and change "Gradient" to "Classic Gradient".
@laszlozsurka89912 жыл бұрын
Is this a remake? You already did this tutorial years ago.
@BLTV_Photoshop2 жыл бұрын
Yes, this is the third iteration. They are slightly different from each other based on the version of Photoshop.
