Photoshop Tutorial: How to create a grainy textured gradient

I'll be showing you guys how to make a gradient with noise textures that blend in a unique way and result in some cool backgrounds.

one important tip: fill the overlay layer with 50% gray (#808080) instead of black before applying noise. That way the colors underneath are unchanged yet it creates noise.

If you want to make the similar shape he made in his grid, you can play around with the liquify tool or use the layer mask tool :)

Creating layers is good practice in case you need to edit... Or make change. If you don't, you going to have to undo many times. So creating layers saves your alot if time.
