Photoshop Tutorial | Photo Manipulation | Water Splash in Bulb

Enough with tutorials about humans :D yup, this time i thought lets make an effect with fish in a bulb. i really had fun time in making this effect and also in recording and editing.
Basically to make this effect we will use stock photo of a bulb and then we will remove its inner parts. After that we will add water, splash and fish. i will show you how to use masking and blending modes to match everything properly.
i will also show how you can make very simple reflections and that also very quick.
This is effect is for beginners and people who know photoshop both. So without any worry just watch it.
i have done a lot of photoshop manipulations in past but this is little experimental so share your thoughts in comments and tell me if you like it or not.

I have a small trick for removing the water around the light bulb: Turn the layer with the water off and go to any layer with the light bulb and select it. Then click 'Reverse selection' so everything but the bulb is selected. Turn the water layer back on and select the layer mask. Now you can do the same, but you'll keep everything inside the bulb

55K Likes and 1,1K dislikes...I just find it amazing how some people just have to throw shade in some way on every single video, regardless of how good, or informative it may be. I've been doing graphics for many years and yes this is a lot of basic Photoshop techniques, but no matter how much I learn on my own, watching videos like this ALWAYS teaches me something, even if it's one thing. Some of these instructors and artists who post videos to you tube, will just record themselves creating an image with music playing in the background, and they don't take you step by step through the process. If you want that, you have to pay him or her. This man took the time to explain each step for free, and for that alone, he shouldn't have one single Dislike on his video.

Amazing tutorial, so nice to have tutorials that explain things so clearly and in text too! One question though, how well would this work with older versions of Photoshop? For erasing the water outside of the bulb, you can select the layer with the bulb on it, quick select it, go to Select > Inverse, then go to the layer with the water, and hit delete! Or use the erase tool. Then you have no risk of erasing anything inside the bulb. CHEERS!

I believe the "sea" photo was to start to add color and more of a real water look. (ie. the particles and bubbles and whatnot) The second photo is too 'clean' and looks far too close-up. At least that's how I see it.
