What a great difference review man! Honestly, your indesign intro was even better than a lot of tutorials because you pointed out main features of Indesign.

Yes! Some rules are ment to be broken though. I work mainly with single page designs and have never really felt comfortable in Illustrator. I feel like it is working against me when InDesign does what I want it to. The auto snap and aligning functions makes my work so much more efficent. I tend to do as much work as possible InDesign (it has all the basic vector drawing functions built in) and only use Illutrator on rare occasions.

I use Photoshop a fair bit for drawing. And i've used Illustrator a little bit. But I have never tried Indesign...i'll have to install it and try it out (seems very MS Publisher type software).
@TeachingTech6 жыл бұрын
Hi Philbrush, I'd say your experience is fairly typical. MS Publisher is a good comparison for Indesign, except Indesign is industry standard so a lot more powerful.

VERY bad description on how Photoshop works. All shapes in Photoshop are drawn in vector images, exactly like how Illustrator does. When you save the .PSD file in Photoshop, it will maintain those as vector images. It is only when you render the image out as a .jpg that you lose the quality of those shapes.
