Awesome tutorial, I've watched many people do tutorials on Out of Bounds and this is by far the best and easiest one to follow that I have watched.

I used this technique and posted a couple of the pictures to my Instagram and have had 6 people ask about it so I just pasted the link in to them. Love your videos.

Hello, just wanted to know what keys did you use on Time reference 5:36 to 5:40 to make the background checkered again?
@photoshopcafe7 жыл бұрын
Hold down Alt/Option and click between the 2 layers to make a clipping group

Can you let me know the picture id on Adobe Stock that you used in your wonderful tutorial?
Love your tutorials, very concise and succinct. I am trying to comprise an image of a building coming out of a CAD Plan any ideas how I can make it look as if the 3D house has come from the plan?

Great tutorial. I just saw a similar effect on another video and they used a vector mask. This allowed them to do the box and stroke at the same time. I have seen the term vector mask, but have never used it or seen it in use. But, I love your tutorials and this concept! Please come back to Dallas sometime soon!

Hello! I’ve watched your videos for both 2016 and 2017 MacBooks and I have one question. I have a great PC but I want a Mac for almost six years and now I need a laptop too. So do you think the 15 inch 2018 MacBook will be a good choice for a first Apple computer? And also what size of iPad do you prefer- 10.5 or 12.9? Thank you and sorry for the stupid questions! 😊😊
@photoshopcafe7 жыл бұрын
I like the 10.5 iPad the best, 12.9 is too big for me to pack in a bag and travel. Who knows what improvements they will make to the MBP in 18, but the '17 is definitely better than the '16. I usually get about 4 years out of a MacBook pro, Im still using my 2012 one for my youtube tutorials.

Hi Colin, Thanks again for this fantastic tutorial ! I'm just wondering why you choose to draw a white rectangle at 3:30 rather than make a copy of the original image. I think doing this would have allowed you to "distort" the waterfall in the background while warping the "photo print". I suppose this would also have demanded a little stamping to avoid a double image of the kayaker.

Because I wanted to make a very definite frame to clarify the tutorial. Remember, the goal is to make a tutorial that is easy to follow, NOT an opportunity for me to show what nice art I can make, You can see my art at the gallery on photoshopCAFE.com or on my Instagram @photoshopCAFE

Excellent tutorial Collin. Glad that someone like you is doing this. I have a totally unrelated question for you though. I just bought the Wacom Intuos Pro Medium and am having a little issue you might be able to help me sort out. It might even be helpful to others as well. When I am using Illustrator and the pen tool, I somehow end up with anchors being placed before I even get the pen to touch the surface of the tablet. What setting would I need to adjust in order to prevent this characteristic from happening?
@photoshopcafe7 жыл бұрын
I believe there is a setting somewhere in the Wacom pref=s where the pen doesn't do anything until it touches the tablet. I don't have mine with me right now to tell you what its called through.
@naritcom7 жыл бұрын
Why didn't you lock the 2 layers of the kayaker together so that when you move 1 it always moves the other
