I tried out the Intuos Pro Medium from 2017, and while it's great, I ultimately decided it wasn't worth it to upgrade from the 2013 model that I also own. I was hoping that the bluetooth and the smaller footprint of the tablet would be worth it, but when I went back to the older one just to see how it felt after using the new one, I discovered there was NO drop off in the user experience for me. So I'll be returning it to stick with the 2013 model. I do however, recommend the newer one to anybody looking to get a drawing tablet!

Waiting for mine to come in right now ! I definitely like the look of this base for the pen a lot more than the prior Pro , it was constantly falling over because I used the thicker pen grip , and it was also easily knocked over by clumsy people like me . Definitely think this one will be much better .

I'm planning to replace my old bamboo fun tablet for an intuos pro, you see.. and the older model is 100€ cheaper, so I was wondering wether it would be worth buying the newer model over the cheaper previous model. Thanks in advance!

Hi. This is going to be my first time getting a graphics tablet. I'm using it for illustrations, drawing, digital painting, animations, comics, ect... now investing my time into the digital field, I can't decide on which what size of Wacom Intuos Pro to get! Medium or Large? Can the large be calibrated to have a smaller active drawing area? I have a 27'' monitor and soon going to upgrade to a 30''. I'm afraid that if I get the large, it'll be too tiring for my arm ... but I'm also worried the medium might be too snappy on a large 30'' monitor. I don't want to sacrifice the comfort of the medium for the natural feel of the large. Which should i get??? Also about the nibs... if I order the smooth surface, will the nibs last longer? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, :) Also, great review!

I have a Wacom intuos pro large. But the generation before this one. I'm concerned about two things: I'm not sure if i should get the large or medium. And second: I'm a bit concerned about the fact that on the macro key's there is no indication which shortcut is applied to it. On my Wacom, i have little led displays which shows what shortcut is applied to it. So i'm not sure if i should buy one. I really like the fact that it has touch and that it has more pressure levels though. So i'm a bit in doubt to be honest :-) Great review btw!

I'm concerned about the orientation from the tablet to the screen. How do you know where you've left off on the tablet to continue on the screen? Also, normally tend to rest their hand down on base; can you do that with the tablet - or do you have to keep your hand elevated (which can become tiring)? It would greatly help if we could see you draw while seeing BOTH your tablet and computer screen.
@photoshopcafe3 жыл бұрын
It uses absolute positioning, so the tablet maps to your screen, top left of tab is always top left of screen, bottom right, is bottom right :) You can change it in the settings for multiple screens if you wish. .

I have the most basic One by Wacom, but I'm not a total skinflint, I got the larger size. It took me a long time to discipline myself to use it, and if my iMac's mouse batteries didn't need charging so often if I used it for editing, I still wouldn't be using the pad. Now I've got used to it I love it, and wonder why others don't use them. @octopus11826 жыл бұрын
Nessi-Music nibs wear down naturally, it's natural for all things, friction cause heat, and also causes the nib to wear down, if the nib doesn't wear down, the tablet would. There are already nibs in the pen holder. But there is something you can do to slow it down. Try using less pressure, and set the pen pressure sensitivity higher. Use different nibs, some work better then others But don't worry if you like your pressure or nib! There are always replacement ones!

Hi. Good review! I'm a first time viewer to your channel. I'm not a professional artist, but I'm very interested in getting into digital drawing and graphics, at least as a hobby if nothing else. Anyway, I'm wondering how much different this experience is compared to buying the new Samsung Galaxy Book 12 with the new S-Pen. Of course, you know that the S-Pen uses Wacom technology and that the new S-Pen now has over 4,000 levels of pressure sensitivity. That's half of the Wacom Pro Pen 2, but I'm mainly curious about the difference between using an external drawing tablet versus drawing directly on the display. As I said, I'm not a professional artist. However, I still am interested in seeing which one offers a better drawing experience. (BTW, I already have a very good laptop, but it's not a touchscreen.)

Nvm u can just add some extra money and buy the smooth texture sheet and it will work out. I wanted to buy an pth-851 but its only 1 year warranty and VERY expensive, same price as th 2017....
