Mam I cannot understand why Calvin took C14 isotope for all these reactions ? Ultimately, Green pants are undergoing the process and the abundance of C-12 is greater in environment than C-14. So, C-12 also has to make PGA>PGAL>>Glucose. So what was his necessity to take C14 isotope ?

c14 is radioisotopics so it enabled to study the reactions....radioactivity enabled scientists to understamnd the process and make a acceptable ctclic basid on obervations
