With what has been presented in the course, you can recreate a small to-do list application, for example, because the course teaches how to interact with databases. Speaking of databases, I recommend using PDO and using a MySQL function to escape strings that you send to the database to avoid SQL Injection. Just a reminder, watch the course and practice what you've learned. PHP is an excellent language to start with, it has great features for object-oriented programming, especially with PHP 8. A tip for today is to study concepts like DRY, SOLID, Design Patterns, because the language is the last step, and, as I mentioned before, practice and come up with projects so you can apply the language's features. PHP can help you, everything you learn can be applied to other languages, especially the concepts. Practice a lot before diving into a framework, it's important to understand the language. I wish you good studies and a great journey with PHP.

Here at my company, I trained a junior programmer who was already doing significant work within one year. He has less than two years of experience and developed a large project almost entirely on his own. Three months were dedicated to studying, including taking a paid course for practical application, exploring language features, and practicing what was learned. Courses like Bro's are good for providing an introduction so you can develop things on your own, like the example of a to-do list application I mentioned. It may seem like a small thing, but it's very important for beginners. JavaScript is also an easy language to learn, but there are certain aspects and functionalities that can be tricky for beginners, so having a good book can be very helpful, although in general, it's not difficult either. As I mentioned before, learning how to translate a problem into code comes with time and practice, but complementary subjects that provide insights on how to write well-structured code will make a difference throughout your career. I like the structure of this tutorial. I'm learning a lot quickly. I like to challenge myself by finding ways to improve on the examples. On the radio button exercise 2:16:45 it's a little confusing to the user when the radio button selection blanks out after submit. If you embed the following php if statement within each ** copy to the other input tags and change "Visa" accordingly. The button will stay selected after submit! EDIT: I added curly brackets around {echo "checked";} although it worked without them too.
