why would that make a diff? my IS300 after going forged runs hot 95-101. i think i need better fans.

Is it true that stock clutch fan is better than any electric fan for the supra

Looks like you have 2 7 fin fans. It should be 1 5 fin and 1 7 fin.

So does the is300 fan harness plug into the Supra directly? Or does it need to be hardwired in

Roscerio Accardi it needs to be wired in. You need to get 12v from somewhere (I used the alternator) ground to the chassis, then send the two trigger wires to a switch, temperature sensor, or a stand-alone ecu. The plugs that came on my harness are GM plugs, so I had to drop in the is300 fans and pin in gm plugs to make it all work.

Would the IS300 shroud not bolt right on the Koyo radiator ? Was there an issue that you required to purchase another shroud (PHR)?

Ashish Prakash that is correct. I ended up modifying the shroud to fit by drilling new mounting holes into the shroud.

@@1WickedSupra just for clarification, you did not use the PHR shroud ? and went with the IS300 shroud.

Ashish Prakash it’s a phr shroud designed for the use IS300 fans on a supra radiator.
