I was there alone in December 2022 when I travelled through Vietnam. The island itself is great. The cable car ride is great and there is a water park at the other end that is also really great. What I absolutely cannot recommend are the beaches. Take a closer look at the Google reviews. It was a rubbish dump. I don't understand why KZbinrs don't film the opposite side. The beach is really dirty. People touch the starfish, take them out of the water, leave them on the beach and don't know that these beautiful animals are dying. It is a disaster. The drive to Starfish Beach alone is very dangerous if you are on a scooter.
