For someone who works hard like me every day. Rainy days are not my problem. But it was a wonderful, quiet, relaxing day out. I spent the day in Phuket massage parlors, spas, coffee, afternoon tea, strolling around the old town. Go to a beautiful local restaurant, read a book, and plan next trip. But my favorite Thai rainy season is the North. It's very beautiful, especially for people who like art like me. Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai is a rainy season paradise.

I feel you :) the north is great in rainy season. Obviously sometimes there are also flooding but when the weather is not so extreme it’s one of the best place to be 😍 absolutely love it!

Hi there Little Talezzz. It’s always hard to say around this time of the year. You could be lucky and have no rain at all. It also can rain most of your stay. I think you should be still excited about it and maybe mentally prepare yourself on some rainy days and make you most of your holidays no matter what weather it’s going to be :)

I just got back as was staying by Kamala beach. The rain storm knocked out the electricity, wifi and plumbing. The sea was raging so I left to a hotel by the airport as I only had two days left of my holiday. Go to Bangkok when it rains!

This. I've lived in Phuket for 12 years so I know the weather there well enough. The Southwest monsoon, which is what's happening now, will finish in the next couple of weeks. Only to be replaced by the north-east monsoon which bring rain and overcast conditions across from the gulf side. The sea will be be flat and calm but it's still not great beach weather when you're dodging showers and the sky is overcast. For anyone who wants beach weather November, go to Hua Hin. It's the driest part of Thailand.
