That old bus used to be the public transport back in the mid 80's. Back then there was no ring road around the island connecting the beaches, you had to catch one of these buses into Phuket Town then change to another bus for the next beach. So from Patong to Kata you had to travel via Phuket Town. No taxi mafia back then either. Soi Bangla was a dirt track.

Some things are pretty expensive actually! In Norway the hot chicken is 150 baht. I'm in Pattaya, 1hr massage 150 baht. That's cheap! 🥳 Top Gun cinema tickets 1,100 baht for a nice chair. But that is tourist price of course 🤩 No rain here for a few weeks

I've been interested on how are you going to sell the Horses. I remember when you purchased it and had it registered to the bike rental shop you purchased from. Great idea but you'll have to sell it back to the guy you brought it from. If you hired a bike for that time, likely there would have been 20,000km on the clock so a bit of wear and tear. Maybe cost 100 baht a day for how many days? If hired for 180 days then your looking at 18, 000 baht which is roughly £450.00. I've re ently hire a Honda Click 125cc for 3000 baht for a month. It's broken down twice. First bike had 21,000km on the clock, throttle cable broke. The second bike had 42,000km on the clock. The electrical component ceased working, no lights, indicators, speedomitor, etc. Your bike is a 155cc so it would have been more expensive to hire. I was in Rawai September 2019 and was paying twice the price for a bike then. I guess as demand for these bikes increase so will the price. I'm sorry I missed you in Rawai or Kata when you passed through. I remember your first video getting off the underground at Heathrow, I think you got off at the wrong terminal with all your luggage and winter coat and just smiled. I know you have plans to travel other lands. These days I just have 7kg or less carry on baggage. I will not lugg shit around anymore. Nice watching your journey. I particularly like the island videos.

Petrol appears expensive 2 litres 100 baht. Certainly more expensive than the $1.85 Aussie a litre we pay here. I guess the price of petrol is up wherever you are worldwide. Great name the Big C leaves plenty to the imagination. That adrenalin rush of losing something and the mind races a million miles an hour, hate that buddy. Experienced it myself the other day with my wallet. Its not good the older we get. Could live off the smell of an oily rag there just on bananas. Amazing value. BTW saw your interview with Ritchie on his channel Ritchie and Maybelle - Maybelle's Coffee Garden, enjoyed that. You mentioned you were going to try and get a visa extension for another 60 days. Wow ,, how times have changed mate ,, that’s a lovely old job for you . Btw you mentioned going to Krabi , I can tell you about a place that would make a fantastic vlog away from the usual tourist toot at Ao Nang etc . It’s a bit of a journey but we’ll worth it , up early in the morning ride out past the airport to a place called Tiger Temple at the far left corner of the car park you will see the signs for Tiger Mountain , now I believe it says something like 1000 steps up there , now if you make it up as I’m sure you will being a lot younger and fitter than me you will have the most incredible views but vlogging the journey up will be fantastic ,, believe you me it isn’t easy and many fail on the way up as I did ,, I managed exactly 333 steps about a piss poor third of it I don’t mind admitting I was bolloxed . That was about 3 years ago ,, while your out that way if you turn left out of the place and carry on you will come to The Emerald Pool , beautiful place in the jungle with many paths through it many wild animals and birds you will love it out there ,, would be a long old day but I done it all in a day ok and back to Ao Nang ,, good luck with it all and as I said before moving on to Penang next will make more fantastic vlogs with the ice cold Guinness made under licence and brewed at a wonderful 7.4% I believe , just make sure your accommodation isn’t too close to a mosque as you know what they do in there all hours of the night 😂😂👍👍🚀
