Again, the US could use outdoor markets. What a positive experience with food, and community. Your breakfast looked appetizing darren. If i may mention? If you remember the spices at the time you taste on cam. Maybe mention them? If possible. It adds to the "look" we are getting; we would then say to ourselves 'oh yea i get it'. Something like that. What day was that? Wow! busy indoors and out! Nice! If there, i would bring my sleeping bag; because i wouldn't come out?😵 Oh man!! ha! Good episode, and on we go... thanks!😌

Love the colour of rambutan. Go to coles or woolies and they look so dead . They have the hybrid bowen mangoes there. Didn't have to bring my seeds over .

Yes, rambutan is best fresh, the old ones just don't cut it.

I don't believe so, this is a very local market. In more touristy areas in Phuket like Patong (at Banzaan Market) and Kata (at Mae Somchit Kata Fresh Market) I have seen shops/restaurants offering that service.

It didn't take me long, I think about a day. The Thai breakfast congee "jok" became my favourite breakfast in the world very quickly!
