Thailand the land of plastic…I mean smiles ☹. Before covid there was a push to stop using bags and plastic cutlery, now no one here gives a s#*t, the amount of plastic given to you automatically at 7/11 is depressing, forks, straws for every drink, buy one item and they still bag it. Street food in polystyrene containers, it’s just a mess and no one cares. Often see Thai families at the beach just bag up all their rubbish and leave it where they were sitting. Honestly how can you go somewhere because for the view and because it’s beautiful then leave all of your crap there and not take it away….
