Do you recommend getting a driver and booking everything ahead of getting there

I think if you plan on visiting numerous places in one day then a driver is recommended, otherwise Bolt and Grab are readily available. In terms of activities, I prefer to book before going so I can read reviews of each activity provider and so that I know what to expect. I have heard through some other people that if you book with some of the street vendors it can be cheaper, but I wasn't able to fact check that on my trip unfortunately. Also the popular tours like phi phi island and elephant sanctuary can get booked up quite quickly, so if you have a specific date/time in mind then I would recommend booking ahead for sure.
