The content both of these juggernauts have put out over the years is a humanitarian good. For real, I have learned a lot from all of these creators. Hope to be able to meaningfully contribute one day.

Been watching your program reviews, they are awesome! you got a new sub right here, I have just a bit of over a year training (started in my mid 30's) and it's time to find a new program, would you pick this or GZCLP? my goals are just to get big and strong.
@CaptainCowboy47611 ай бұрын
So I am looking at this and Gzclp to go into. Do you recommend one to go before another, or both in any sequence? I have lifted for a while never really on a structured program. Just as I felt. This I feel has caused less than optimal progress. Which one out of the two would in your opinion be better to start with, and then move to the other. Gzclp, BC PUHL

How often do you progress weights on the powerdays? and by how much? Could you also do day1: power upper day2: hyp lower day3: hyp uppper day4: power lower? or is there a reason why 2 power days are followed up with 2 hyp days?

Very comprehensive breakdown. Do you have any recommendations for someone who has been on Madcow 5x5 for two cycles that would be a smooth transition? I train in my home gym so I’m limited to barbell and dumbbell movements. Any advice would certainly be appreciated brother.
@gjmjblevins Жыл бұрын
If you are stalling on Madcows then going to GZCLP is what I would do - that program is awesome and while it is more volume it is worth it to get on something you can do a long time - if you are looking for lower volume then 5/3/1 is a good option (the base version, not BBB which would be a bit of a volume shock). Blessings

Sorry if you mentioned it I might’ve missed it, but how do these days go with rest? Is it four working with 3 rest straight or is it workout rest workout rest etc? Thank you.
@gjmjblevins Жыл бұрын
You can do it according to your schedule but two on, one off, two on, two off would be better than four straight. Blessings

Deadlift and squat at rpe9 on the same day. No way is that possible for me if I'm to push that much intensity.
