@@clixyxd7426 not always. i mean youre right about anchoring but i do some fun things with kegs. i once brought 10 kegs to reapers hideaway, purposely sunk my ship, placed 4 kegs behind the reapers table in the tent and 3 kegs on both docks next to the loot barrels. When a ship finally pulled in i was tucked under one of the docks, blew up all 3 kegs next to their ship which sunk it and killed 1 of them. They tried to move whatever loot they could to the reaper guy you sell to and i tossed a fire bomb inside right before they could turn in 2 emissary flags they looted from other ships and i sold everything before they made it back to the hideaway.

This game is amazing. When I tried it the first time I was thinking "nah, what is this dumb shit". Was something about the grafics, and the tutorial mission that had be not liking the game. But when I learned the game, and saw how it could be played, the game soon became one of my favorite games (among doom eternal, rainbow six siege, watch dogs legion ect ect..). This is a must play game, if I ma to be honest. Once you go SoT, you'll never go back 😂

Must be nice to have them fight you. I was flying a level 5 order of souls, doing flameheart. They were hiding somewhere, running a 4 man sloop. Got all the loot, I chased them down, had a few fights in between, but they were always just a little bit ahead since it was 4 players. A brig offered us an alliance to help take them down. Then..we realize what they are doing. Bastards just went straight into the red sea, then claimed it was because we were mad. Like..dude..you're a level 5 reaper..you're supposed to be pvp. 4 man sloop vs 1 man sloop..yeah..then an hour long chase only to lose them to the red sea. Real fun. Made me not even want to play any longer. Nothing like losing everything you worked on for 4 hours. Its one thing if they won the loot in a fight..but this..this shit has to go

It's 11pm here, and I just logged off of sea of thieves. This time in the arena, we encountered some toxic french guys who won most of the time, usually with us in second...couldn't even pronounce the word "f*cking", they said it with an A and of course called us noobs. Made some great friends and roasted them in a friendly way (without the toxicity) and thats how I got more experience in PvP and combatting toxicity. Great vid as always.

I had a very polite lvl 5 Reaper crew attack me last night. I didn’t have any treasure, but they did want my supplies. They said “no hard feelings”, and I was cool. They didn’t camp me until my ship fully sank. I was on the first leg of a Vault mission so it really didn’t set me back at all. I fought back, but I was already behind the eight ball because they came out of no where while I was fighting skellies. I congratulated them on a nice job and we all moved on. That’s how you pirate the right way. No hard feelings, just an appreciation for good ol’ Pirate shenanigans

Relatively new to the game only been playing the past month and a half do to lockdowns mostly. Anyways gotten a lot of good tips and strategy from your vids and nice to see more people who can pvp and not be toxic. Sucks when you’re victim to it but it’s part of the game and going to win and loose some. The lack of good sportsmanship from some people (even win they’re winning) is unfortunate feel it just drives players away.

Well done! Last night was a lot of PVP. Even without an emissary. Folks were just in the mood for attacking. My crew and I allied with some newer players running a galleon and did a vault together. They said we were the first friendlies they came across and made their experience so much more fun and better. We even worked together to loot the vault and held off a sloop of 2 attackers and managed to get all the loot delivered. Good feels all around, the sloop kept coming back to pester us, but we were ready to wrap for the night after the dropoff.

Unless you absolutely know there's no risk of you being attacked, do not take any kegs. Even then, don't take normal kegs, they aren't worth it. Only take the stronghold and athena kegs, and sell them immediately.

Hello :) Phantom = to Normal Cannonball but with a smaller blast on impact to players. Fire = Is equal to Normal Fireball Wraith = Is 3 Times stronger than a Normal Cannonball, it can drop a mast with one hit or Cause at least 3 holes in the hull + Rocking the ship out of course stronger than a blunderbomb. I hope this clears it up :)

Custom servers aren't going to be a thing in SoT, unfortunately. :) The servers the Devs are talking about are purely for content-creators to organize their own events. No gold or rep gain on those servers, it's just to sail around, really.

Phuzzy, what's the effect of a level -1 Reaper's Bones emissary flag? Does it negate the revealing markers of Reaper's Chests and Bounties? Take from the rewards of sold items? Does it level to -2, 0 or 1?

Grade 5 Reaper Emissary allows them to see other Emissaries locations. Regardless of what Grade your Reaper Emissary is, you will be seen by everyone else as soon as you put it up. Reaper Emissary does not negate Reaper Chest and Bounties from showing on the map as they are always shown on the map. Like other Emissaries, having a higher Grade in Reaper's will give more and if they haven't change it, it should be x1.5 at Grade V.

I used to be like the reaper. But thinking on it awhile its not worth getting upset over. The flag is only worth 5k if you lower it and on a 150k - 300k ish flameheart run 5k is just not worth caring about especially since you are likely hopping right after. I anymore sink the ship and leave the flag by the dock or something so someone can enjoy the free 10k - 20k

No, not really. :) It just tells you, so you know that you're now visible on the world map. So, other players can see that you're a level 5 Reaper and may try to sink you. That's what I do for PVP, I hunt Reapers.
