You can also one shot the boss with kegs without using the wall exploit (only works if you stack) : once the first fort finished "normally", you keep the kegs present in the vault and put them on the right lantern inside, take one regular keg out of the pile and put it upstairs (the main hall) at the far right of the room. Do the fort and when it comes to the boss wave, simply blow the regular keg wich will set all of them downstairs. There's one drawback : you need to protect the regular keg in the hall during the fort, avoid making it explode

Next to the glitched spot for the kegs, there is a little some kind of mini cave, where you can normally place the kegs, so you can still 1 tap Graymarrow

if you want to be cheap with your dubloons do skele fleet and do 1 skull of destiny use the ritual skulls from skele fleet first and use the destiny skull on the last stack

we did around 60 fort of the damned stacks in the past week and a half as a galleon with reaper emi up 80% of the time. we got contested around 2 times by crews (they were very bad). i wouldnt worry about timings.

Would love to stack this event but yet to make it through even once without some ship sitting on the horizon waiting until we finish to come in for the steal. Trying to move all the loot solo from the vault and get it on the ship is just so damn slow and leaves way too much time in which you are walking with the goods and can't keep an eye out the way you can with even one other player helping. That first success should feel pretty sweet wehn it finally happens though :D

I dont do this fort bec risk and time cut into potential profits and the Reaper's chest suck. But you can put all your loot on a cliff, so you can harpoon it. Its a lot faster.

used this strat to stack 4 forts. took me 1 hour. had to sink 4 ships during the time of doing the fort. the second we finish the last fort and start putting it into our ship, these 2 fat pirates come hooning down on a sloop with their shrouded ghost titles (evidence they've completely bummed out the game) and just absolutely slaughtered us. me and my friend have a combined 800 hours.

You make it look so easy Im currently on 6/50 completions for the commendation, I have attempted maybe 35-40 a few have been taken after completion which im not salty about but the rest ive have it running for no more then 10min before i have every boat on the server come for it. 90% of these were before the SOD existed and took ages to get all the lights. I also didnt know that the SOD acted like your lantern to make them vunerable, I thought it was just to ignite the lanterns and to start the fort so will be definitly trying afew more aagiin soon.

He’s absolutely right about the lines in the compass to follow. I had a compass do the same thing for the sunken curse voyage. I was at the shrine of hungering. . It lead me across the whole map to the shrine of oceans fortune 😭

The sunken curse voyage takes you to the same shrines every time because unfortunately its pre-determined. Why Rare chose to make you sail across the map 3 times? Ya no idea

I dont think ritual skulls are useless. They can be used instead of Skulls of Destiny and you can easily get them from skeleton fleets. So if you have like 3, you can use the skull of destiny elsewhere and use the skulls for activating the FotD

Always more a matter of others. Was on a galleon, only had two contest our FoFs or FOTD the other night. Was very profitable. The two contesting (a sloop first, then a brig) weren't the best. Need nights of easy wins to bounce back from the usual camp and sink of those usually better than us once things are done.

i tried doing a ten stack and when we were about to start 4 a merm spawned and we had to sail away quickly, we looked behind and a frikking brig crew was chasing us, we sold the loot but the player's just spawn camped us for 1 hour before we just scuttled and left.

the trick is keeping the treasure in the vault. that way if you get interrupted the players don’t get shit from you and they will have to complete the fort to access the treasure you touched this allows you to sink and fight them without worry and if you do sink you can always come back and sink them while they are completing the fort also tip if you didn’t know, it tells you “ treasure donated” once an enemy player, touches your loot

I feel like I get the philosophy of having a guide and trying to teach a method that isn't patched but this is a sandbox game that's ever changing and there's no guarantee anything will stay the same. It doesn’t respawn on its own, you have to get the lights again and relight the lanterns and put in another ritual skull/skull of destiny

I got attacked by a server alliance after 🤗 the point is how to stack, which is clearly shown in the video. As for the barrel , that's not an exploit, you're saving your treasure inside a vault, like how you can do in a Seafort.

I dont think its worth it just for gold. The time it takes to setup and to finish along with other people contesting it is to high of a possibility you will be walking away with nothing. Even if you do get to sell, it takes to long to sell to Reapers, making Reapers chest just added waste of walking time that takes away from the profit. You could glitch in a rowboat to the Reapers to save time. But have to rely on the devs not fixing the glitch.This would be fine if treasuries, skeleton ships, megaladons, fort of fortunes, sovereigns, and stacking hourglass defending grades did not exist. The time and risk is just not scaling good enough compared to the rest of the game sadly. A crew of 4 or an alliance would make it worth the time to stack and sell I think if the coordination is good. The rowboat glitch is the only reason Reapers are tolerable right now. That walking distance without it is just to much when comparing it to the sovereigns.

I think reapers lack harpoon because they are supposed to be pvp oriented high risk high reward faction. Unloading time opens the crew for a heist, encouraging pvp. That said, You are right - it's slow and tidious

He sat there at the fort for who-knows-how-long going over all of this while announcing to the whole server he was there with a reaper flag. Not wise. It gave everyone else, at minimum, 10 minutes advance warning that someone was about to start the fort.

he'd potentially get attacked even if he wasn't flying reaper's bones since you can see the Fort skulls from almost Any outpost and figure out it's probably the FotD skull by checking compass and map.
