Some years ago, I used to work for the Kenyan SPCA. We rescued a young dog with a horrible pinkish tumour on its bottom lip. A quick visit to the vet left us rather embarrassed, as they removed a lump of bubble gum from him! Meanwhile, huge thanks to all who helped this poor pooch - definitely not a bubble gum lump.
