As someone trying to learn jungle, I appreciate how in-depth these commentaries are. Thank you!

One thing I love about watching bo is how fast he is at recognizing a losing position and splitting map/pressure, he has definitely mastered this and can often times swing the lead with hyper aggression on opposite side. Also recognizing "ignore" timers on waves with bounces, awesome.

This will up my Kindred game! You've given me strong motivation to learn the mark timers and the enemy jg info they reveal. You also pointed out how it's better to help a lane snowball rather than be a nice jg'ler who tries to be equal with each lane.

Small correction is that it disapear regardless if you saw the mark being taken

just a little reminder. If you have marked the enemy jgl first and invaded him than it can also be that gromp or raptors get the first mark. This is only if you get the kill/assist mark before 3 minutes.
@Vymarus2 жыл бұрын
Want to correct something about the mark. The mark just disapear 15 sec after take from minimap, regardless of fog of war. I also believe the 45-50 sec is most likely because it takes 45 for camps, 50 for epic monsters. It always seems like it taste a bit longer before mark spawns on epic, like the epic has to stand there for good 5 seconds before getting marked. If you want to be even more specific, mark will try to spawn at 3:15 in game. At 0 marks, that means only scuttle, so it first apears at 3:30. But if you kill enemy marked before 3:15, you have 1 mark, and the gromp could possibly be up at this point, resulting in gromp being marked at 3:15
@Phylaris2 жыл бұрын
If you see a camp being taken you already know the mark is respawning in 45-50s, so I meant what it means to see a mark disappear off the minimap. Oh the 3:15 spawn is good info; I kind of figured it was just moved back to 3:30 timer for first mark spawn.

Whenever I play Kindred, my goal is to get assists, not kills. I get my stack regardless of if I killed the target or if I landed a single auto attack before they died. You just need kill participation, so the main thing to run is actually a lot of out of combat movespeed, that way you can get from lane to lane or objective to lane, lane to objective faster and more efficiently. Even having Wolf take a single bite of an enemy who's about to die naturally in a fight will score the stack and leave you very well off without spending much effort. She loves to play with characters with executes. Let your team get the kill, just make sure they know you're coming and to stall as long as possible until you can manage to get your participation. Into mid to late game when you have over 10 to 20 stacks, change the playstyle completely to an aggressive assassin that IS trying to get the kills. All that said, I'm no pro like Bo is, and I'm sure just watching his gameplay will reveal several secrets many people who play kindred do not know.

quick thing about the kindred graves match up, grit doesnt matter here at all, red buff and who gets the jump on the other always wins the 1v1 during opening clear.
@gial272 жыл бұрын
this also extends to graves vs viego, nidalee as well. E level 1 grit isnt that meaningful compared to the damage enemy jungler gets to offload in that first second or two of the fight + camp aggro on graves In these match ups players should pretty much always start red buff and either go for reverse clear or invade. He who starts blue, loses. Viego being an exception who doesnt want to invade ranged junglers too often during opening.
@Phylaris2 жыл бұрын
The champ with Red that gets the jump usually wins, yes. That being said, max Grit stacks with rank 1 E isn't negligible - Graves has 30 armor on Kindred. The fight is supposed to be a lot closer; Graves just played it really poorly. He saw outline with Sweeper but instead of leaving or walking into bush, he walked forward then turned to auto Red again. Awful W placement caused Red to not auto Kindred 2-3x while she chased. Stuttered auto at 3:00 game time, didn't Q Kindred at all from start to finish. Walked back into Kindred at 3:03 and took 2 extra autos + an auto from Red for it. I think there's no world in which Graves dies here without trading 1-for-1 if he doesn't misplay so severely. I can't entirely blame him since it's hard to immediately play correctly when getting invaded, but this fight should never be so one-sided.
@gial272 жыл бұрын
@@Phylaris true and fair, graves W placement practically should force instant flash from kindred when saved for the end location of kindreds first Q, or at least make the fight a LOT harder for kindred if she doesnt flash the nearsight. Graves gets to trade in at least 2 autos for 0 and wait for Q cd (not likely to come up during the fight anyway since 13s cd) kindred should always look to flash either W or Q in this match up and graves should always save W for after kindreds Q. Graves should look to flash out of vision during reload to avoid exchanging autos for 0 In my experience this scenario never ends well for the one getting invaded though, ranged v ranged, red buff v blue buff, kindred can also if necessary space graves hard who doesnt have access to quick dash yet as well with 16s r1 E cooldown, but thats irrelevant since invading intending to 1v1 fast before laners arrive usually doesnt leave much time for dancing.
@gial272 жыл бұрын
@@Phylaris watched the fight again in slomo, the only good mechanical play here on graves' side was insta pop potion actually. Have to study this match up more, as graves I always look to be the invader instead of risk this position. But looking back yeah this looks a lot more like 1for1 trade if played and spaced better, cant W when fighting melee range, have to E first, actually didnt throw Q and failed to drop aggro
@Phylaris2 жыл бұрын
@@gial27 Ya it's almost always invader winning. So many junglers just opening Red-side jg rn for buff advantage + Raps/Krugs are so much easier to clear than Wolves/Gromp atm. I would love if Riot added 2-man practice tool so dedicated junglers could spam repeat these kinds of early duel/invade scenarios as drills to really master the execution. I do genuinely think this was potentially winnable for the Graves if he played it perfectly, and in general there'd be a little more variance in these early invade duels if the receiving jungler had much better prep. That said, in fairness all the burden of execution is on the Graves side of this matchup - Kindred just has to mash her buttons and look to flash one ability.

Hey Phylaris, could you do a season 13 updated guide on kindred's clear? I've seen a lot of players pick her up, yet I can't figure out how to get below 3:20 myself. Thanks in advance!
@Vymarus2 жыл бұрын
If you are talking about full clearing, thats because it's not currently possible from my understanding. I even do fast strat in clear videos, you can check it out. (Getting another auto on a W rotation since Attack speed buff with alacrity enables you to hold your Q for a bit longer)

Why does Bo take blue jgl pet, especially with his play style? I assumed green would be the more ideal choice for Kindred in most games.
@Phylaris2 жыл бұрын
Green and Blue are flex. Very minimal immediate CC from the enemy team comp makes green pet lose value, lots of ranged champions on enemy team makes the movespeed from blue very useful for entering ganks more quickly, and 2 splitpushers on his team (Akali and Camille) means he should expect to cross-map to shadow multiple lanes moreso than 5v5 teamfight.
