If Lynn Whitfield was white, she would be far known beyond her two roles, The Josephine Baker Story and Thin Line Between Love & Hate! Phylicia Rashad depth of acting is far beyond playing the mother on The Cosby Show. You got to see her range a little bit in "A Fall From Grace" , TV show Do No Harm, TV film -Jailbirds and maybe TV film - The Old Settler but unfortunately, they put her in the boogie "Mother figure box". If she was white, we would have seen her in more of variety of roles.
