Mine is starting to send out runners its ok for me but its also stil sendig out new shots in 9th septemper is that good?

Around July and August, runnig bamboos focus on rhizome growth. It happens that some of the rhizomes grow above the ground surface and transform into poles (they often grow crookedly, at an angle). If they do not have time to become woody, they will die at the first frost.
