Phylum Mollusca | Biological classification part -17 | Class XI-Lecture 45

Phylum Mollusca includes Triploblastic, coelomate, soft bodied organisms having tube-within-tube body plan and organ system level of organization.
The organisms are characterized by the presence of Mantle (spongy layer over the visceral hump) that scretes calcareous shell.
eg- Pila, Sepia, Octopus, etc.
