I have a great Walmart story for ya. I walked in and noticed a mess in the self checkout. It was liquid detergent. I thought oh someone dropped their detergent that sucks. Then in the frozen food section I noticed an associate helping a lady cleaning up her cart. It was dripping with liquid detergent. I thought man people are having a hard time with detergent today. When I passed by the detergent aisle two associate's were cleaning up puddles of detergent. So I decided to ask what the issue was with detergent. Apparently some kid had unscrewed every lid to every liquid detergent bottle without being noticed.

This is the problem with retail, higher ups basically say let the customers do what they want, and treat them like royalty, so when someone with common sense sees a customer doing something they obviously shouldn't, the customer starts throwing a fit like a 5 year old, and its always the employees fault. (speaking from experience of course)
@blazingfire87944 жыл бұрын
I have one for you. Years ago I worked for a thrift store in the office. The office was separate from the store and there were two bathroom. There were HUGE signs in the store stating that there were NO public restrooms, however time after time we would find customers in these restrooms. We in the office would complain because there wasn't supposed to be customers in the office area because it was no secure. The store employees would say that management of the store required them to allow these customers in. One day I went to use the restroom only to find it occupied by yet another customer. This customer of size came out of the restroom and smeared shit all over the toilet. Over the seat, under the seat and across the back of the toilet. I don't know how, but the room now smelled to high heaven. We had to close the restroom for over an hour because of this. There was also the time I could have picked up a free kid at the store. This store also took donations for AMVETS so I would use this store to donate some of my stuff to. One Saturday, I was unloading a bunch of old clothes outside the store when I heard a woman screaming that this kid. The child was about three years old. This woman tells the kid to just stand there in the middle of the sidewalk and started to walk away. This sidewalk was in the city and very crowded. I just decided to stand there want watch the kid because I was concerned about her. Every time she would start to follow her mother, the mom would turn around and screamed at her to stop and stand right there. When the cow (and I don't just mean her attitude, the woman was the size of a house) got to the end of the block, she screamed at her kid to move her ass. This happened about 20 years ago and I still think about the emotional damage that woman did. The sidewalk was so crowded that anyone could have snatched the kid and she wouldn't have been able to do anything about it. It still bothers me to this day.

These are just big reasons why i worked 1 retail job and NEVER again. This happened back in 2015 so the details are a bit fuzzy but from what i remember this is how my last day went. I worked at a convinence store lets call its -4 (which you get when you subtract 11 from 7), This Karen and her nasty Spawn came in about 15 minutes before my shift ended(I worked Graveyard so 10PM-7AM). The Spawn proceded to grab handful after handful of candies and when its mother told him no he proceded to throw them across the store all while screaming bloody murder(breaking open several of them and spilling skittles and starbursts all over the floor). Karen did NOTHING about this while she was staring at the Coffee bar with what i can only assume is the Karen vein pulse. She came to the counter and started to yell at me for not stopping ringing up the other customers and coming over to make her coffee for her and not cleaning up her precious angels mess. I was tired and just done with that underpaying under appriciative job, I rang up the last customer who gave me the " im so sorry" look before he left. As soon as the door closed behind him and this karen threw an empty coffee cup at me something in me snapped. I picked up the cup slammed it on the counter and yelled " You know what fuck you C^!T and your stupid fucking demon child this isnt fucking starbucks and im not your god damn maid, ( ive seen enough of horrers of Retail or R/RetailHell to know the manager demand was next) You will not speak to my manager because i fucking quit go fuck your self you miserable bitch." i then took off my work shirt walked in to the back office tossed it and my name tag on the desk clocked out and left.

And, yet, people are so fucking stupid and politically divided that they are distracted and pointing fingers at each other instead of the criminals on both sides in government, or the corporations that have WAY too much power. The elite are succeeding because the people are too fucking stupid. This is why I am centrist. It isn't hard. The constitution is SUPREME LAW with no exceptions, EVER. And the people are superior and should get superior treatment over a damn servant. People have forgotten what this country is supposed to be. It's absolutely pathetic and embarrassing.
