This is one of the best Ralston videos you've posted. I think it's because it's more long-form than the shorter videos you post. The shorter ones are way too short for most people to get anything out of, specifically because the wisdom is so great. So I think in the future if you can have videos around this length or longer, it will resonate with a lot more people. So thanks for this one!

Always thought short video were simply an introduction for those curious enough to pursue the material further

@@jzimmt Yes but they're too short. There are companies that post long-form (2+hr) coaching material for free on YT and then of course they also have their paid material

@@TheBrendanLea Hey I'd love to. I got introduced to Ralston in 2010 when I got his tome. I'm currently in Europe but would love to connect if you're interested in some feedback about the videos (our company is in a similar niche, but larger following). Just an unofficial offer lol

The visual quality is really good, and the audio is clean as well. The format is great too, and I really appreciate the direct communication. I could listen to this for hours. Great job, Brendan and Peter.

This is why Eugen Herrigel, the German author of 'Zen in the art of archery,' when he tried to study Zen in Japan in the 1920s, was told to first take up the practice of archery.

I have played sports since I was a kid. I was always fascinated with how top sports people were skilful. When I took up Tai Chi it gave me an insight into body mechanics. When I picked up Effortless Power in the bookshop it introduced me to Peter's work and this then lead to the consciousness work but it was not intially my interest. It has though made the biggest shift in my life. I have worked with both professionals and recreational sports. Without exception they have very little understanding of what Peter calls Body-being. The best can execute at a high level without necessarily knowing the how? I am 68 still train, swim play sport and it gives you a realaity check as Peter has testified. Get off the cushion read Zen Body-being and kick your own ass.

Thank you Peter, this kind of content is very helpful, intrinsic and useful. Very much appreciated really. I would love for you to speak about trauma work more. This is an enormous subject of consciousness that quite literally governs the world in a palpable manner. Trauma ridden people go through so much unconscious behavior and unless these people who are deeply traumatized transmute their emotions the shadow trauma creates will control them. There is scientific evidence showing authenticity heals trauma (Gabor Maté) and it is just something i'd love to see you address more. You tend to say we create our emotions or "¿Who are you emoting for?" yet I will say that traumatized people are not choosing to create these emotions, they have to be released from the body, felt. I think you should address emotional labor more as it is pretty much what creates the entire shadow.

real meditation is grueling manual labor done with whole body; no part of the body/psyche is allowed to come out and make comments; bringing wholeness via sealing all fragmentation leakages in real time.

leave the mind. serve the body. mind is an excuse to be lazy. not ordinary lazy but lazy against waking up the body. body is dead mechanical unless we wake it up. remind your mind to serve your body as if your body is a loved one's body.
