Brother which laptop to buy who are taking core branches, should he take laptop just for doing our college activities or should he take gaming laptop ( for editing) will he get time in college if he takes this kind of laptop ; how much money should we invest in laptop. If we buy laptop after some time (aprrox 2-3 ) months studying will the student have to face some challenges because of not having a laptop. Please reply 🙏

Approx 64% placed(not looking good eh, but wait) and highest goes upto 34lpa(cse) but the thing is most of the student goes towards highest studies, the collage infrastructure is old but nicely maintained Let me tell u pros and cons Pros:- 1)The professor there teaches the class mainly based on Civil services exam and GATE (that's why so many students there perform good in GATE ) 2)Internship opportunity (if you maintain a good CGPA you can do Internship international too 😮, in Germany) 3)Good nirf ranking and 2nd oldest eng collage 4)Beautiful campus 5)Kolkata is very near so you can freely explore it during weekends 6) Know for good research facility 7) Big company like Microsoft,google,Adobe,Infosys,etc visit it almost every year or so Etc Cons:- 1) 4 seater/5 seater hostel room 1st and 2nd year (you might be able to get single room in 3rd year on your performance)sooo ufff no privacy 2)Not very recognised, most of the people don't know that iiest exist 3)Hard academics, needs 40%to pass(SINCE I TOLD U, it's mostly civil services and GATE oriented) 4)Small library ( SO DURING exams library will be filled with people ) 5)For the 1st year classes most of them don't have AC so be ready to be cooked 6)mess room is kinda small as compare to normal mess in other hostels ETC Overall it's a good collage if u have no better option take this Understand when to take iiest Top 7 IITs > Top 7,8 or 9 NITs > IIEST > New IITs > New NITs SO now decide your choice
