68W here, currently on rotation in the clinic for my BN. Have a new PA who did the PA was a vet tech prior and is currently helping me get the process started of doing what she did was the IPAP. For anyone looking into it, its a great route from what she said but also this video shines light on pro and cons.

Hey Deborah, if you have a wound from a skin biopsy (shaving) that's about 1/4 inch, and it's not bleeding, should you keep it covered, or uncovered? Should you use any ointments? The Internet tells me everything, but I know you would have the right answer.

Hello, I’m thinking about going back in as reserves. I’m thinking of reclassing to 68F, physical therapy assistant. Would this MOS help towards the IPAP? My end goal is either a PA or DPT. Also, as a whiskey are you then certified as an EMT? Since im thinking of reserves, I want to be able to work while I work towards my degree.
@hyuck-wonpark406 Жыл бұрын
A medical background would help, but you wound need to find a way to log hours working under a military PA, along w some LORs. A whiskey is certified as a EMT on a national level through their NREMT.
@elizabethmurillo8390 Жыл бұрын
As a 68W yes you can have your EMT. I such just you look into 68D you can be a surgical tech

This is a really good question! I’m very happy that you are thinking about this now. They can for leadership, volunteer and what makes you unique! So do something no one else that applies can compare or has done. I’m going to make a video more focused on this!

@@deborahalbanez3003 just go medical doctor. The pre-reqs are just as demanding, and you get the actual title. You’ve got a Truck driver and an IT guy, you should 100% go medical doctor and step ahead. You have years in the emergency setting and extracurriculars at serving God. I believe you’d make an excellent medical school student, your articulation alone is already leagues ahead of these two. I would not sell your self short of being the top.

Thank you for making this video! I plan on commissioning next year once I graduate and my goal is IPAP. I would love to email you if you have the time 😊
