Can I be a haematologist when I have a medical laboratory sciences degree?

Good Afternoon, Haematologists are medical doctors who have sub-specialised in haematology. Therefore, becoming a haematologist would require completing an undergraduate medical degree (MBChB/MBBCh) and completing two years of internship, one year of community service and the relevant years in a specialist training post. We hope this answers your question!
