What i love most of this set of videos is that back in part one, he screwed up the friction explanation regarding the plasma flare. But instead of editing it out, he makes a proper explanation in the second part, and owns up to it. In a very round about way by blaming kevin.

Mercury is named after the Roman messenger God. It was named this because it had the fastest orbit of all planets in the solar system. Mercury was also said to be incredibly fast. Thus, why there is a Flash character named Mercury.

Actually, the antagonist is specifically the character who opposes, hinders or challenges the protagonist. They don't have to be bad people, it's just that whatever they're doing is incompatible with whatever it is the main character is trying to accomplish. Villains are usually also antagonists, just as heroes are usually protagonists, but neither have to be.

Posting this around 6 minutes in, friction truly isn't touched upon much until you reach higher levels of maths in my country but if you had questions then you could typically get answers. I did a few assessments on railguns where help was readily available on topics such as friction and electromagnets etc. I will say that visualising the entire Earth as basically an 'ocean' (atmosphere) with just 'deeper parts' (pressures, water levels, etc) helped me understand how to apply more of more 'common' worldly (physics) understandings to what's going on in the larger scale. I saw a picture depicting that and it sort of just 'clicked' one day, prior to that I was having trouble relating the smaller scale systems to the larger ones or something... Short ramble aside... I shall continue it for slightly longer, I've been enjoying the videos presented by you where it sort of confirms a lot of my understandings I hold. It's probably a stupid dream but I'm hoping to help develop some systems to be used in space that will eventually aid in automating things up there but talking about that here seems stupid and pointless so I won't lol, thanks for the videos and hope you enjoyed making them.

Also for people who wanna know how heat shields work, it works by using aomething called an ablator, aka a material made to burn up very slowly, stopping the heat from accumulating in the surrounding material, similar to how sweat works. TL;DR, heat shield works like sweat, evaporate to reduce heat.

Mercury-Hermes is the Messenger. God of travel and endurance sports (and Greek manliness), communication, borders, everything that even has a little to do with travel. He got elevated to one of the Twelve olympians by trading favours and knowledge. His archetype of 'traveling magic man with spear' corresponds to *Odin* for some weird reason. Prehistory we know nothing about.

It sounds like you thought Eve might be a gas giant? Eve, the purple planet, is a rocky world. It takes the equivalent place of Venus, so it's planet #2. It's one of the most difficult planets to get to and from though as it's closer to the sun, has a lot of gravity, and a very very thick atmosphere.

The KSP system is losely inspired by ours. But everything is about 10 times smaller. But not with 10 times less mass. So it's more accessible for new players.. So KErbin has about the same gravity as earth but you need a smaller orbit because it's tiny. So that Kerbin has techncially a insane density. Leaving Osmium in the dust. But there are mods that give you the real Solar System and as much realism as you want. Or warp drives and stuff. That's the beauty of even vanilla KSP. You can take it as seriously as you want. Or not. Just fooling around with crazy rockets and planes (and still learn thigns) is also fun. It's not even as hard to get into as many scared ppl think. Just don't start in career mode as beginner it get's very tedious very quickly with that contracts stuff..

Nice video, first time interacting with your channel. Some constructive criticism though: you provided very little interesting commentary. What I mean by that is there is little need to watch this video over Martincitopants’ original video. A lot of it was ”oh wow” or mentioning what is happening on screen. What I really loved and what I would like to see more of is what you did at the start, showing a brief little lesson in physics. Obviously it might be a little tricky to make it work as Martincitopants already plays a teacher role in his original video but I would love to see you explain a lot of the stuff yourself, maybe show us a few examples of times you have used it yourself. It will provide unique commentary giving a perfect reason to watch your video as you provide insigtful comments. To provide an example: say you were to explain what Δv was yourself and show us how to use it and an example of when you have used it yourself to put it in a context. I think it would give some nice spice to your (already good) videos I think. I will be waiting for your next ”Kerbal Scuffed Program” video! Much love!

Ksp does not acurately simulate physics, but simulates the affects of phyysics such as thrust and gravity. hence why Valentina died due to time acceleration. but there are mods which simulate aerodynamics, engine testing ( efficiency improvements) hell, even crew experience. When I used to play on pc, it would take 30 mins real time to land on The Mun, but with RP-0, it took 3 months (real time) before I managed to orbit a realistic earth.....I gave up at that point.

imagine if we found out a way to just suck the energy out of stuff. like instead of burning and shit to extract energy we find a way to just suck all the energy out of objects and store them in some kind of battery. and what would happen if we actually managed to get a spaceship to the exact speed of light. the universe speeds up time for you the faster you go so the light moves att the speed of light through your perspective but what if we whent the speed of light. would that mean we could stop time for us and theoretically fly anywhere?
